I've been fighting depression as long as I can remember. I'm just glad I can do it without having to take medications, anymore.
I have my really bad times, but then I usually pull myself up and out. I hate when I "hermit-ise" myself and only get out of bed to do just what absolutely has to be done. I've gone through months like that before.
I love sunshine, warmth and watching people moving about and doing things too much to really go into my "hermit" phase.
Needless to say, I also have SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder), so the winters here affect me a lot. Not when I lived on the coast!!
