College Student Trying Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Hi, so I'm 22 and go am in college. I'm writing this because it's halloween and I've literally been in my head all day, and I just don't have the energy to go out now. It seems very comforting to stay inside and just be with myself, and I think a lot of it has to do with what's called "Generalized Anxiety Disorder". I've recently been doing some research, and thought I'd share it here. If you experience anxiety about everyday things, and find it difficult to perform tasks that everyone else seems to do with ease, you may have generalized anxiety disorder. I have been in therapy for years, and it has gotten me out of many funks. There is help out there, outside of the online community. Believe me.
