Every Day Is A Battle

I battle self-injury every single day. The minute anything in my life is overwhelming, that is the first place I want to turn.

I just found out I failed a class today and I'm in jeopardy of not getting into the nursing program at my school. Nursing is the only thing I want to do as a profession and the idea of not getting in is killing me. I have no idea how to handle all of this anxiety and emotion, so of course, I want to cut. :/

My experience is slightly different when i get overwhelmed i turn to drugs an alcohol although i was a cutter, try not to get wrapped up in the racing thoughts of failure,i know how you feel what is helping me is a little meditation and deep abdominal breathing as well as creative visulization where i surround my whole being in light, which may or not sound hokey to you. It works i always come out of my visulizations and meditations more secure and grounded.Another way of healing is calling out to your guides slash angels to help you during trying times there's usually a spiritual solution to our problems.I don't consider myself religious but i have experienced my angels and have found guidance in them, anyways i thought i'd share this with you. it may not be your thing but it can't hurt.Know that you deserve a good life and try to be gentler with yourself, many blessings .Sayloe
