You are not alone. Believe me, I also feel the pain. I'm bogging down in a masters program due to my procrastination, and it is messing me over professionally, financially, with my relationship, everything.

I'm brand new to Experience Project, and have been having troubles with log in, but I hope this site will work for me. I just joined because I was looking for support groups for overcoming procrastination. Basically I am sending a note to anyone whose post on the subject seems sincere and thoughtful. (I get really tired of those posts "I'll write a story tomorrow, ha ha ha." I want to talk with people who find procrastination painful, not funny.) I'm hoping to build up some kind of online support to help me resolve this problem.

I posted a couple days ago to the I Battle With Chronic Procrastination group under the name IThinkICanIThinkICan, but haven't been able to log back in. I finally set up a new account though I am worried I may have the same problem all over again. Anyway, hi, and I hope things are going better for you than when you wrote that story about a year ago.

Please drop me a line if you want to try to share support about this.

I'm sorry your feeling the way you do. I know what your saying. I too lack ambition, motivation, enthusiasm, and order in my life today. Feel stuck. Got lost along my way.

Mine has a cause and what I'm trying to work on and understand. Overcoming maybe another obstacle.

Yeah, I did the therapist, and now have appointment with shrink.

This place (EP) has helped me greatly. It gives me something to do rather than think, and relieves my often boring and mundane lifestyle.

Sometimes I need a break from myself, and find reading others remarks, complaints, additions and dis-satisfactions, helpful. I know I'm not alone.

If you need to vent, "Have At it". Gross dis-satisfaction is a heavy load to bare alone.

Or just find a subject or question similar to yours and jump on in for remark.

You will find most very accepting, friendly, kind and non judgmental. Others will relate and share.

I'm happy your here, and wish you well. We all reach a conclusion in the end.
