Losing Weight...uuhggghh!

A personal story in the experience: I Battle With Weight Issues
I am kind of discouraged about trying to lose weight . I try and it seems I fall head first into something chocolate and then feel totally guilty! But today, I have eaten some good things. It is hard to eat good at work sometimes. But I am trying to bring fruit...I love strawberries and bananas. If anyone has any positive thoughts on this subject, I welcome them!

I have not always been over-weight. I guess that is the problem. I have a family history of obesity. My aunt died of it and my Mom is diabetic and is also over-weight. When I was younger, I was skinny as a bean-pole! But at 25 yrs, I started to put on some pounds. I thought no big deal, actually thought it was kinda cute. But now, at 40 pounds over-weight and almost 37 yrs old, I am not thinking 'cute' is the word I am looking for. IT IS DISGUSTED!

Thanks for the info! I started going to Weight Watcher meetings a couple of weeks ago. So, I am trying what I know has worked in the past. About 5 yrs ago, I lost 36 pounds on the program. I am a pharmacy tech, so I am also very leary of taking meds to help me lose weight. I want the feeling of achievement!
