My Journey To The Perfect Physique

Have you ever struggled to lose some weight? Have you ever felt that the fat in your body is like a leech? Have you ever felt lazy, lethargic, and just plain unmotivated to do the simplest of things? I know I have. And I just hate it. Enough!

I have decided to change my physique, health, and just my overall outlook on life. This is just a documentation of my journey to my "perfect physique" that I want to share with you fine people of the internet. Mind you, I am not doing this for any aesthetic values. This is purely for my health and to increase my athletic performance. I am pre diabetic. As for my athletic performance side - I want to join the MMA in one year.

So there you have it; my target date is one year from today. December 14th 2012 to December 14th 2013. I am going to do HIIT for my cardio to cut the fat and weight lift to build muscle. HIIT - everyday and weight lift three times a week attacking two of the major group muscles each day. Diet - eat small meals frequently. 70% protein, 20% carbohydrates, 10% fat.

I am going to update frequently with pictures and let you guys know how my journey is going. And I hope I can inspire those who are struggling to lose weight. Yes you guys are not alone. We are in this together and in it to win it. Wish me luck.

Good luck man! You set a date which is important, and sounds like you have a good action plan. Thats what i did and i'm down 27lbs so far, so it can be done! You definnitely sound motivated, make it happen! Keep me posted on your results!
