Can He Have Your Lunch? When I was in high school, I didn't normally buy two plates of lunch. I sometimes bought two if it was a small sandwich or order-in from Pizza Hut/Taco Bell.
I had a male classmate from Korea - this was when I still lived in Hawaii - who was very nice to me our whole high school career. He one day didn't have money for a hot lunch plate on a day we were served hot lunches. But I didn't know it in the morning when we had to give our order to the teacher who called reported it to the administration secretary, who called the cafeteria cooks. I had an urge to order two plates, so I did. At lunch, the cook who I was friendly with, asked me "Since you ordered two, can Taewon have one?" I said yes without even pausing.
