I Believe Age Doesnt Define Maturity
Hi, everyone! I wanted to share the story which kind of supports the statement of this group.
I'm 21 years old and I used to casually date a 38 year old man. We had a 17 years difference which might seem like a huge gap at first but I strongly believe that it's just a stereotype. Of course, mainly I dated him for the money, but he was a lot of fun to be with. He was divorced once, but I would have never said he is 38. He told me that himself and showed his passport since I didn't believe him. It was all because he had a YOUNG soul! I believe people who take things easy age slower than their mates. He was very outgoing, at times a little too mischief and foolish for his age, he was very attentive to me and treated me as his partner. As in, he didn't treat me like a young stupid student girl. He was always attentive to my problems in college, he used me cheating advices and tell me about his uni life :) I felt really sad when he moved away from the country, we are still in touch, and sometimes I miss him a lot. But I'm thankful he came into my life, and I'm a firm believer that age is nothing but a number. Maturity is not defined by age, but by thoughts and actions. And if you are not mature enough or your age, that does not always mean it's a bad thing.
