Unbelievable!

 This is unbelievable. A czar. Not congress approved, not accountable to the people, is in the shadow govt big O has set up.

I'll copy and paste a portion of the article, as well as the link so you can see the whole thing if you want.

Obama’s Science Czar Advocated Giving Trees the Right to Sue
Obama now has well over thirty, approved and voted by nobody but in charge of your future.

Please allow me to repeat the title of this post; “Obama’s science czar advocated giving trees the right to sue.”

Yes, you read that right. John Holdren, Obama’s science czar, once advocated for giving trees legal standing.

Giving “natural objects” — like trees — standing to sue in a court of law would have a “most salubrious” effect on the environment, Holdren wrote the 1970s.

UNBELIEVABLE! That you believe anything you read on a web site that says he hopes the confederate flag offends you.

Not approved by Congress?<br />
<br />
So are all the reports of one John Holdren meeting with a Senate committee on February 12 and being confirmed by unanimous voice vote on March 19 lies?<br />
<br />
Maybe there are two John Holdrens, both involved with science, one who was confirmed by the Senate and one who wasn’t.

This is really not my cup of tea, but just a note of support. The Sweeds are considering giving plants rights and this is true, so it would not surpise me that the Obama groopies would try the same.

Hey just goes to show you what Oboma is doing with the time in office...doing stupid sh-it like this. But hey, america voted for him! Good Job america you picked the Indian...Black....Iraq...whatever the fu-ck he is, retard this time. As if Bush wasnt bad enough, at least he just started a war and made a **** ton of money by stealing oil. But now we got this bastar-d in office, that lies to our face, shoots and misses on everything that he does, and does stupid **** like this. The one president that deserves to get his fuc-king head blown off...still hasnt gotten his head blown off. Where the KKK sniper team when you need them? <br />
<br />
"Oboma your momma"<br />
Morbid

Well damn CC, I wish I could have figured that out like you did.<br />
<br />
All those Bush hating groups and stories. All I had to do is drop in, say the stories and comments are stupid, then everything is all better.<br />
<br />
I do have one question though. Are you saying that this guy didn't write that book, and that he has not written about the things I have said?<br />
<br />
If you can go to this link, and say afterwards this holdren guy belongs in our govt, then all I can say is, WOW!<br />
<br />

One of my dearest friends (ahem look up) is a conservative. we don't get each other's beliefs. at all. what we do get is how to love someone despite what we think is sadly misguided political opinions...LOL....luv ya, indy ;-)

I'm so sorry CC. Whoever hurt you so badly should hang their head in shame.

Kind of a hateful rant there CC. I'm guessing that you would prefer that those of who hold opinions and beliefs that are different from yours not be allowed to voice them?<br />
<br />
Please let go of the hate and understand that there really is a differing point of view.

I guess george w was good for the country. Ronald reagan is a saint. These beliefs are held in an alternative universe.

I agree that he is no good for our country 100 percent!

Do you think people will stop and ask questions the next time they hear someone say they will give them change?

ROFLMAO Good one Centauri. You caught some of them. They actually took you seriously, at least long enough to reply. You must be a writer for the Onion in real life.

I think the word I'm looking for is.... WOW!<br />
<br />
Well if you can't tell what the ob<x>jection is, then explaining it will do no good.

It would be helpful if you explained how this issue was effecting you, going to effect you, or going to effect anyone in particular. As it stands written here, you really do not make a point such as, 'My ob<x>jection to this is...' or 'Why I think this is bad politics for America is...' but barring anything like that I believe you are wasting the resources of the ExperienceProject by simply posting a link to a story elsewhere.

Well I'll tell you what,if you don't want him,we up here in Canada will gladly trade him for Prime Minister Stephen Harper if you'd like!!!

It sure did. My son works at a Chevy dealers and said someone came in with a Vette so the manager bought it from him instead of turning it in on the program.

Good point. Cash for clunkers violated the rights of thousands and thousands of good cars.

I think gas guzzlers should have rights too! Maybe mine will sue me for slowing it down!

Yeah I know. Doesn't work with me though.

It's interesting how people will try to discredit something by saying its something they heard instead of giving facts. Must be a CNN junkie

I'm not actually worried about being sued by a tree, but I am worried about the mentality of this guy, who is an advisor to the O-ster.<br />
<br />
I have cut down hundreds of trees for firewood in my lifetime. And will continue to. Haven't been sued yet, and don't believe I ever will. =)

This is going to be the subject of my next story. Take a look at what else he has in the same book.<br />
<br />
It's amazing.<br />
<br />
http://zombietime.com/john_holdren/

It's good enough. =) I am not personally invested in this; I don't mind if you want to think your oak will sue you if you cut it down. =)

I found sources all over the internet. Fox was not one of them.<br />
<br />
Well you dispute the facts. Is it just good enough for you to drop in, say it's not true and that's it?<br />
<br />
I'm posting information I find, with links. If you want to deny it, do the same.

Sorry, not my job to check your facts. This is something I remember hearing on...whaddya know...Fox News.

Perhaps this story is an urban legend, but the snowballing national debt isn't.<br />
<br />
I still hear Rod Serling.

Prove me wrong then......

You should probably research your stuff before copying things from right wing propaganda sites that make you look silly. I am not baiting you-you are perpetuating a manufactured rumor that the Republican party itself has admitted to being false.

I hear ya Indy.<br />
<br />
Hope and change baby. Hope and change.<br />
<br />
It's nice to know that people are finding out what change he was talking about. More and more every day are getting pissed off.

I feel like I went to bed and woke up in the Twilight Zone. Does anybody else hear narration by Rod Serling?
