The Strength To Conquer All

From a very young age I was shown just how important family can be. My parents were always there for us, ready to give up their time to be with us in whatever way we needed them.

In high school, I came to see just how brutal life can be when a family as a whole is torn apart from the foundation up. I also learned that certain groups will claim to offer the same environment as a family while in reality they are nothing more than a false representation. Nothing, and I mean nothing, beats a real family despite what some will claim. A church/cult family cannot take the place of a real family that will love, care and cherish its members beyond the limits of life.

As I grew up and came into my own family, I came to see even more the importance of a family and the responsibilities that come with it. As a parent I realize now that there are things that i need to do, things to say, that will conflict with what my children want because at their age they do not know any better. t is my duty to protect them from the influence of people and organizations that would not think twice about destroying this family to gain control over my children.

I also understand that it is my duty to open up the universe to them, to bestow upon them as much knowledge and wisdom as possible so that they will be able to make sound decisions for themselves. I am hopeful that with the work both my husband and I are putting into our family, that our children will grow up to see the evils of our world and avoid them while forging a future of their own and continue the cycle of happiness. It is also our hope that our children will understand that no matter what may happen, they will always have a place in this family and that we will always be there for them. Never will they have to turn to a stranger, regardless of how golden-tongue they may be, when they are faced with trouble.

There is no substitute for the love a parent has for their children, and likewise you cannot replace or fake the kind of love a child will show to their parents. This, being a true family, is what I hold as my most worthy achievement and I hope that through this I can show others just how fake some of these would-be religious families are.
