I Believe Family Is Very Important
Every child deserves to know who their parents are and where their parents are. When people do not know their roots there is inner turmoil. They may learn their purpose to late, or not at all.
Please, have conversations about unintended pregnancies with adolescent and teenagers. They are not too young to know the consequences of raising babies into adulthood without proper knowledge of self.
Stop keeping family secrets and being afraid to tell the whole truth about family members be they dead, or alive.
Insist on children getting to know both parents families and if that can't happen think of ways to know more about ones parentage. Whether a family acknowledges a child's existence or not the child still NEEDS to know.
This is the responsibility of every parent to every child.
