I Believe God Is Love
I believe God has unconditional love for us created heaven but not hell. Now, everyone I've expressed this idea to has strongly disagreed. Recently, I found a story on here that expressed the very same idea. Sadly, however between seeing it and logging in I lost it :(. I believe God is all loving and forgiving. God knows and loves all... even those who do not know Him. I know hell is discussed in the Bible, however I believe God did this to strike fear in people who didn't trust Him completely. Like with Noah's Ark- if you didn't believe in the ark and what Noah was saying, you were washed away. But hell does not exist. There is no place God will 'damn you to' to suffer in eternity. God only created two people born without original sin-Mary the Virgin and Jesus His Son. He knows the rest us have flaws even we don't know about. He knows we are going to mess up, and not get things exactly right the first time. He knows we are weak, which is why we need Him.
God is all-loving, all-forgiving, and all-caring. We were all made in His image, Just as church is for everyone, heaven is the same. I do believe purgatory also. If anything this is the closest to hell God has for us. Purgatory is basically a big detention room. and one by one we are called to the front of the room to answer to our wrongdoings in our life. Jesus and God listen patiently. The hardest part of any mistake is owning up to it.
Therefore, there is heaven, there is purgatory, but no hell.
Now, Hitler and Osama bin Laden are going to spend a lot more than in purgatory than Mother Teresa but God loves everyone.
