Tell Me Why

This group has 2 members. Would you tell me why you believe god loves everyone?
I find the bible hard to read - it's full of murder! Why is that?

I think you already know the answer to your question. It's because god is a heinous, evil murderer who does NOT love us. There is just TOO much pain and suffering in this world for me to believe god loves us.

I have studied the word and prayerfully consider where I stand on the death and destruction aspect of the Bible. God wiped out entire cities with fire from heaven. He killed millions of people, including some of His own people. With the children's story of Noah, He drowned every one on the planet except for Noah's family. BUT all of these people opposed God. I'm proud that my master defends me from the enemy.

why is the bible is hard? for first starters we read them of how we feel about them, that's not what the bible is there for.

for example, what did Jesus mean that he will have the Jews destroy the Temple and he will raise it back up for 3 Days?

theres two meanings with almost every verses in the Bible, clues and common.

what Jesus explain about the Temple are clues, did he meant for them to9 destroy their actuall Temple they have built for 40 something years and Jesus tries to fix it back up for three days? no

Jesus didn't meant for to destroy and rebuild the building as a recovery, he meant the Body is a Temple that is meant in Heaven, our souls are in it and the Temple will remain clean and taking care of other words we use higiene.

Also Jesus knew he will be beaten and being hung on the cross to Die as the Temple is destroyed, 3 Days latter he will raise it back up as a resurrection to Heaven and he did it all for us so we can be in peace with Christ someday.

I'm not meaning to be condecending but that is me just repeating something that I have heard or read (or both). Me repeating it keeps it going - it gets passed on - but it doesn't make it true.
Thank you for taking the time to reply. Can you tell me why YOU personally believe 'God loves everyone' and do you only read the bits of the Bible that sound nice? If you read it ALL (or are attempting to do so) what do you think about all the death and destruction? No matter how much (he) loves you - could you love him back if he really intended to keep people in eternal torment?

God's Word in John 3:16 tells us that God loves each and every person. God hates sin but he loves the sinner. For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish; but have eternal life. Even you do not choose to believe in God he still loves you. He will always love no matter what you do. When do you stop loving your children. Because they make a mistake. I will always love our children no matter what and God does not d anything less for you and I.
