Follow Your Heart, But Don't Forget To Take Your Brain

Many times in my life I neither followed my heart nor used my brain to make some decisions. I really don't know why I did what I did, but I'm sure it was based partly in fear and anxiety, or just giving up on finding the right person. Now I've learned what consequences those decisions have had, and I've studied a lot of psychology, learned meditation, and took a deep look inside myself. I have now learned to follow my heart, but my brain is probably still checking in from time to time, which is a good thing because I don't know where the heck it was some of those times so long ago.
