I never knew the name of the prayer.

I have heard the first paragraph for years , but I did not know there were additional paragraphs.

Ya know LG, when I was much younger, my perspective on this prayer was a lot different than it is today. Life experiences have a way of bringing a lot of "needful" things into focus. Thanks for posting! HD

A very nice topic to discuss ,

To believe means to accept something without a tangible reason ?

I think your "statement" is as wrong as right :) 'cause it is a single part of a holier truth .

    1-

We have got an infinity reason to believe Allah ( God ) existence

Don't you think that Consistency and harmony of everything , everything and in every creature , every creature are evidences for his existence ?!!!

Don't you believe that every action must have a subject ?!!!

if someone told you that this reply was written by no one and was just existed by accident , would you accept ?!!!

There are so many evidences for Allah ( God ) existence

and as a result we , believers , change our minds from believing in what we see with eyes to believing in what we don't see with eyes but can think about with minds .

    2 -

According to everyone's religion , there might be some instructions that we understand , know why we do them and know what is the relationship between what we do and the results we expect ; So we believe in these instructions and we try to implement them , but there are also some instructions that we don't understand , we don't know why we do them ,or what is the relationship between what we do and the results we expect ; We also believe in these instructions and we try to implement them , but why ?

since we believed in the instructor and subordinate for him then they must be true .

3- I think the source of faith is (1- ) in which we have so many reasons for our faith and that's what make us believe in and accept things without a tangible reason in (2-)

so I think your statement was as wrong as true because we have many reasons for the source of our faith but sometimes we don't know the reason of what we believe in ( what the instructor told us )

    My regards :)

thank you for your reply...and yes, I believe the existence of God is all around us. However, according to those who favor the theory of evolution over divine creation, would certainly have a strong argument for their belief as well.....hence, the reason this subject has been philosophized and debated for centuries....

But keep in mind that divine creation is a religious belief while evolution is a scientific theory. Just because people tend to "believe" one or the other, doesn't make them them the same. In other words religious belief and scientific theories are two different things and shouldn't be compared. Apples and oranges.

That is the true gift of faith, that you don't care what others think you just know it is true. You know that god is always there for you, and your faith in god and the fact that he is there for you can carry you through just about anything. God loves us and wants us to know it. He takes care of us and faith in him can give us the hope we need to get through the worst situations. God Bless You!

People do have doubts but when you know that there is someone who is going to be there for you all the time, it makes things easier that God loves us despite our flaws. I pray to God everyday to give me the strength and wisdom that I need to get through life. I am going through some hardship right now but I'm not giving up on Him and I know that He isn't going to give up on me. God Bless You!

I had a really big struggle with my faith a few years ago. Something was happening in my life and though the first thing I did was turn to God, and prayed daily, sometimes several times a day, I felt my prayers weren't being answered. Things kept getting worse and worse until they just blew up! I got so mad at God for not answering my prayers that I stopped turning to him altogether. Oh I still believed in Him, and I believed he answered other peoples prayers, just not mine. I honest left him, I stopped praying, I stopped going to church, everything. I put my bible away and for several years it gathered dust. But my kids kept going to church and continued developing their faith. Funny thing is that any time I said anything against God, they would correct me!! lol I'm so proud of them. Then Last year after their church camp they came home and prayed for me, I thanked them, but didn't really think much of it. Turns out they had been praying for me all camp long along with the leaders and other campers.
To shorten this a bit, It took me a while and much took place during that while, but I finally went back. During that visit I responded to the alter call where I learned that God never gives up or leaves us, we are the ones that walk away from Him, but he's always there calling us back with open arms, and when we come back His never fails to embrace us. I still struggle from time to time, but with this lesson in mind. I know He's there and I know he will always be. God Bless You!

I think its human nature to have doubts about your faith from time to time. Even the disciples, while they were standing there with Jesus, had doubts. (See Luke 17:1-5)
