Pretty accurate with the Jesus thing. He came for 2 reasons...
    1. The whole forgiveness thing, which in reality is that he knew we werent going to be able to atone for our due karma that we have accumulated throughout our many embodiments, so he came to kind of hold it for us until we are ready and able to deal with it.

    2. Not necessarily the "prince of peace" but more to bring the "sword of peace" to do battle with all of the negative energy we have created over so many lifetimes that looms over the earth like a veil that hides reality. To bring the understanding of love in the one true God and faith that we are ALL His sons....
Yes contrary to what some belive, jesus is not the only son of God and not the only one that has produced his so called "miracles". He mearly utilized his understanding of cosmic laws which are unknown to current science. Yes, real, true scientific laws! Including walking on water, turning water into wine, and healing the sick. And we ALL have the capability of using these laws because we are all sons of God. There are countless lifestreams that have used these laws throught history. They are called "Ascended Masters", of which Jesus is one as was buddha and many others. Eventually we will all ascend, until then we must live as they have.

Sorry, but the scriptures says Jesus is the ONLY son of God, not that is one of several. Jesus is the ONLY ONE and the ONLY WAY

No it never says that. Why dont you find it for me. Jesus said, "If those who lead you say, ' See, the Kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds of the air will precede you. If they say to you, 'it is in the sea,' then the fish precede you. Rather the Kingdom is inside of you, and it is outside of you. When you come to know yourselves, then you will become known, and you will realize that it is you who are the sons of the living Father. But if you will not know yourselves, you will dwell in poverty and it is you who is that poverty."

So stop dwelling in poverty people. Why must you continue to sell yourselves short? When will you come to realize that the Kingdom is truly inside you because we are ALL sons of the living Father? Telling people otherwise is only slowing down the process in us finding our true Self and bringing doubts in the minds of the people that they have an allotment in the Kingdom.

John 3:16 God sent His ONLY begotten son.......
      John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

      John 10:9
I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.

What is your scripture reference for the Jesus quote above?

It comes from the Gospel of Thomas. A scripture full of quotes from Jesus that the church desided to leave out of the Bible because they couldnt understand what he was saying. The Bible is full of mistranslations and misinterpretations which have seperated the people, unfortunately.
Are you able to properly interpret the following quote from Jesus?
"whoever does not hate his father and his mother as I do cannot be a disiple to me".

Do you know who it is that refers to "The Ancient of Days"?

How bout what is meant by "let there be light"? Are you aware that this has nothing to do with physical light as from the sun?

Did you know that the translation for "the Red Sea" in Exodus is actually "the Sea of Reeds", a completely different body of water.

There are many things misunderstood and much more things that aren't mentioned. Just don't believe everything you hear and think that they are absolute or else your search for the truth will cease.

When you go to the original text within the context of the audience, culture there are no contradictions.
In the accounts of the crossing of the sea (15:4; Deut. 11:4; Ps. 106:7, 9, 22) the water is often referred to as Yam Sup, which is also the Hebrew phrase in this verse. Some modern scholars interpret Yam Sup as “Sea of Reeds/Papyrus” because the term sup refers to the reeds growing along the Nile River (Ex. 2:3). Because papyrus does not grow along the Red Sea/Gulf of Suez, some scholars have concluded that the Yam Sup is one of the marshy lakes in the eastern delta region north of the Red Sea. Support for this is claimed from the Egyptian document Papyrus Anastasis III, which describes a “papyrus lake” not far from the city of Rameses that could be identified with the Yam Sup of the Exodus account. Many scholars have concluded from this that the Israelites crossed a marshy area of a lake rather than a large body of water such as the Red Sea. Other scholars disagree, proposing that sup is not related to the Egyptian word “papyrus” but rather to a word that means “end” (Hb. sop). And, thus, the yam sup would literally mean “the sea of the end,” that is, the sea at the end of the land of Egypt (i.e., the Red Sea). The Septuagint translates yam sup into Greek as tēn erythran thalassan (lit., “the red sea”) here and elsewhere. In addition, every certain reference to yam sup in the Bible refers to the Red Sea or its northern extensions in the Gulfs of Aqaba and Suez (e.g., 1 Kings 9:26; Jer. 49:21). This suggests that the name Yam Sup is best understood to denote the Red Sea/Gulf of Suez and, therefore, the Israelites crossed this major body of water when they fled Egypt.

The book of Thomas was probably not included as it was considered to gnostic
(esoteric or intuitive knowledge) is the way to salvation of the soul from the material world.
So therefore it don't line up with the other books or the character of God.

Well thought out. Perhaps it will be debated for a long time.

It is a shame that the church decided to leave out scriptures such as the gospel of thomas because when you really understand the sayings it actually does line up perfectly with others books and the divine plan. Its too bad people are too ignorant to see. It only delays everyones ascension.

Not if what the book is teaching "is the way to salvation of the soul from the material world." Salvation does not come from anything material. If anyone teaches any other salvation than that of Jesus Christ, it is a false teaching.

You are pretty right on in your view of God. Jesus is the only son of God. If we believe that he died and rose again for our sins then we can truly be saved. We must ask forgiveness, repent of our sins, and accept Jesus as our Saviour. This is the only way to get to Heaven. I know some people won't believe this, but it is the Truth.

I love your story. You are for the most part correct.

I need to comment on one of the comments that said that Jesus was only human.

Jesus is both God and man. John 1 says: In the beginning was the Word and the Word was God....The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father full of grace and truth. John 1:1, 14

Phillipians 2 tells us why he became man:

Christ Jesus Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death—even death on a cross!

Why did he die? Because He loved us and wanted to save us.

God the Father sent God the Son to become human so that he could live the perfect life we could never live and then die on the cross to save us from our sins. But the good news is that we celebrate his Resurrection every year in a holiday we call Easter. He rose from the dead, can never die again and is alive and well living in heaven at the right hand of God the Father but also he is with us everyday. This is not fiction but fact. His death and resurrection was witnessed by many people. He was seen alive not only by the disciples but by 500 people before he went up to heaven in a cloud. And he is coming back again soon!

Zim, you're still young, there’s still time.

Don’t try and convince yourself that the nice idea is true. Religion is just a really nice idea, but make sure you pay attention to biology! Pay attention to the things science has answers for, you do not have to believe in an unbelievable deity...you do not have to twist the bible to suit your means, simply question your outlook, and perhaps there is no god? What then? I'll tell you what, nothing, life goes on as usual and I remain the happy fulfilled person I am today.

You can be a truth seeker like myself, I am an atheist to anything that seems as unlikely as something else (within my frame of reference). I am a good person, and yet I have never been given any reason to believe in God, does that mean I am not a good person at all? Or that the Devil constructed me to question faith? Nah, it just means God is a really nice idea that people want to believe (Because if you believe him, you believe in immortality) but he is also imaginary.

You are not alone, many people construct their own gods and re-invent the nice idea. But that’s all it is, a nice idea.

Don’t waste your life wondering about something that isn’t there.
