Make Room For Magic And Wonder

There is an old saying: "nature abhors a vacuum." This means that because vacuums are not natural, they will be filled in one way or another.

Years ago I used to attend Christian Science church meetings, whose beliefs are based on the principles in Mary Baker Eddy's book "Science and Health with Keys to the scriptures." Every Wednesday evening, testimony meetings are held in Christian Science churches all over the world. In these meetings, believers share their experiences of miracles and insights. While I attended these meetings, I always had lots of testimonies to share.

These testimony meetings are the equivalent of creating a vacuum, which has to be filled. Create a space where you expect to hear experiences of miracles and people will experience these miracles so they can share them.

Years ago when I had the "calling" to share my insights and experiences in writing, I didn't have a clue how this was going to turn out, nor did I have the resources to do so. However, I trusted that it would happen. What I had effectively done was I had created the vacuum and the intent to share my experiences created the necessary resources and experiences.

Before I start a new blog, I have an intention/purpose. For instance, my current blog is focused on the magic and wonder of life. I, therefore, expect to have these experiences so I can write about them in my blog. How these experiences occur is none of my concern.

I believe the secret to experiencing limitless wonder is to create the space for magic and wonder and then let the space fill itself. It is that simple.
