I Have Come To Realize

Not only is it true that not everything is black and white, nothing is either black nor white.  Everything is a shade of grey, even if an extremely light or dark one.  Life and the events in it are never absolute.  There's always a grey area; an asterisk.  Wouldn't life be so nice and simple if everything was black and white?

Yep, that's exactly what I'm saying. Absolutes seem easy but are perpetually false.

Yes and No. Absolutes can make things seem easier. Let me put it this way, would you prefer your steak well done (black) or rare (white)? See, a shade of grey is more desirable (medium).
