It is all around us if we only pay attention.

Speaking of synchronicity, I I played the All Game tonight. It's game of self discovery and, guess what? Synchronicity...There were too many synchronisitc experiences between the players tonight to count. And isn't it funny, that an older post on synchronicity was brought back to life tonight?

I think this is an excellent description, and I agree. I have had events fall into place in my life in a way that randomness just could not explain. If you watch for them, there are sign posts that appear in order to direct you in your life.. at least this seems to be my experience. I have used these sign posts to lead me to some amazing, life altering experiences. I see synchronicity as the universe sending us messages. Pay attention, and patterns will emerge.

Lindsy my friend, in your usual way, you have taken my ramblings and condensed them into something that makes sense.

The only thing that I'd like to add is, this did start out looking at synchronicity. If we can understand the lesson that the synchronicities are trying to teach, we can avoid all the other nastiness.

However, it's easier said than done.

Yup, but that makes it all the more fun. LOL

Good nite Wiseone. I'm sure I'll run into you in one story or another tomorrow, or later or whatever the heck it is.

So true. I had forgotten the story line. I really twisted Luangi's story didn't I? LOL

But I though you were for the penguins since they were teaching us how to band together and work towards the greater problems of the world?

    LOL

Maybe I should go and fight of the penguins or something equally crazy to get my mind of things a bit.

Me too. I'm an emotional mess as you can see by my postings. I have the gift of seeing what other's need though.

Time for a bit more soul searching, and I might need help on this one. It's funny in a way. I seem to be able to help others turn in a positive direction, but hopeless at sorting out my own.

Yes, I believe we're meant to learn a lesson from it.

We need to be open to the answers.

Would you say then if we don't get what we want or expect we need to find out why it was not good us?

There is a point where the Universe doesn't give you what you want. That's usually when what you want is not for your highest good.

You can most certainly push it, but watch out. When you get it, all hell will break lose and life will be a hell of a lot more difficult than it needs to be.

I would agree with this. I think it is important to remember that the universe is for us, not against us or merely neutral which this writing eludes to.

Many metaphysical teachings indicate that we have selected patterns, people, lessons in our lives before we got here. The sacred contracts that Caroline Myss speaks of. That would help explain a lot in our lives.

Synchronicities are definitely not just some random things that pop into our lives and are magical. They do have meaning and I think this essay describes it well.
