Personal accounts of synchronicity
One day I was contemplating what artwork to put in the apartment I was soon to move into. I thought to myself just for a moment how much I loved starry night by van gogh. Later that day I left for work and saw the neighbor’s garbage was on their doorstep, so i decided to take it to the dumpster for them, and found a perfectly good copy of starry night right next to it when I went to throw away the trash.
While at work at a grocery store in Victorville, CA(population approx. 100,000) I was working the closing shift. It was just after midnight, I was having a conversation with the security guard. He was telling me about his friend who travels the country for work, never buying anything himself. I said, “Like a monk!” about 30 seconds later, a Buddhist monk in full garb walked into the store. Mind you this was very late when the store is always empty, in a HEAVILY Christian town. A few minutes later we were both observing how much we hate non-handicapped people riding the electric carts around. I said to the guard, “Yeah, what if a handicapped veteran came in here and there weren’t any carts left!” Just then a man wearing a vietnam vet cap walked in and got on the 1 available electric cart.
I was a cashier, and there was a woman in my line once, who was on the phone. She was saying to the person how 45 was like her number and how she saw it everywhere. She began walking away as I reached the total for the customer after her. Their total was 45.45. She was just out of earshot. This makes me wonder, how many synchronicity accounts occur just as we miss them.
I was pulling into the parking lot of Starbucks to get a coffee, listening to a strange song on the radio, right before i shut off my car the song said, “getting a cup of coffee”.
I began to think how i could use this as a minor form of clairvoyance in a way. I decided I would catch a thought as it popped into my head and expect it to manifest on the physical plane. I noticed we drove past the goodyear building while we were in the car. I thought to myself that I just saw the goodyear building, so I will remember that and expect it to come about as matter. Later that day I was reading a magazine at the laundromat and saw a picture of a blimp. I put the two together and decided that if I expected something related to the goodyear blimp to manifest that surely it would come about. Maybe in an advertisement or something. 3 days later the goodyear blimp itself flew over my head.
For about 3 months, the only material thing I’d been desiring was an obsidian scrying ball. I didn’t mention this to anyone around me. My fiancée and I went up to Oregon to visit her father and stepmother. I noticed 2 black spheres in her cabinet, and asked her what it was. She said it was an obsidian scrying ball and that I could have one of them.
After psych class, in which we learned about human sexuality and brushed upon Erogenous zones, I got in my car and began to drive home. about 5-10 minutes into the drive a song began to play. The song was counting out time by genesis. In the chorus of the song were the main words, erogenous zones.
One day I had bought my then girlfriend a gift, for an anniversary. I saw on the tracking that its said the package had arrived. I did not see the package on the doorstep and that made me a bit frustrated. I decided I would lay down and meditate on the matter. So I visualized the neighbor knocking on the door and handing me the package saying, here, i kept this inside for you. I was interrupted about 3 minutes into the meditation by a knock on the door. It was the neighbor with my package, saying the same thing I visualized.
Right when I had moved to the state I had some shoes which were getting a bit ratty. I did not have a job, and decided I would manifest a new pair of shoes with my thoughts, as well as a cell phone which i was lacking. I visualized and willed these to appear. A week or two later I met a friend whom I had met online in the other state. They decided out of the blue to buy me a new pair of shoes and a cellphone.
I called my friend, who’s ringback tone was Tiny Dancer by Elton John. About half a minute after i hung up the phone, I walked into 7-11 to buy something, and the song playing inside the store was Tiny dancer by elton john.
Synchronicity with food:
Hunger is a primal need and urge, and given this basic desire, i’ve found synchronicity tends to speed up and work more efficiently with food. Some personal examples of such are below.
I walked by some pecan sandies cookies as I was coming into work one day. I had a brief craving for them, though a strong one. I went to the back of the deli where I was to begin work, and discovered that my manager had bought a box of pecan sandies, and let me have some.
I was walking by a Jack in the box restaurant on the normal route to work. I looked at the menu as I walked passed it. I saw a root beer float, and i looked quite appetizing at the moment. I came up to the doors of work and there was a table set up, with a woman selling root beer floats for a dollar to benefit cancer research.
On my birthday, I was thinking of how when I was a kid I would always get my favorite food for dinner on my birthdays. I would always choose pizza. As I walked into the break-room I saw that there was a pizza on the table of my favorite variety.
I was on the phone with my then girlfriend, and somehow I mentioned how snickers is my favorite candy bar. The next day at work, I was in the break-room sitting at the table, and a co-worker comes in, out of the blue, and dumps a whole grocery bag of fun sized snickers bars on the table in front of me. He said someone randomly gave them to his brother, and he didn't want them.
