I Believe In the Healing Power of God
"I believe in the Healing Power of God". I wanted to share another awesome story about the healing power of Jesus Christ. Well a while back, I was applying for my Veterans ID card and I finally received it. During the time of waiting for it, I began to experience pains in my arms, legs, and chest. Also, this extreme fatigue came over me to the point of making me sick. This went on for about a 3 months. I did not know what was wrong with me. Then out of the blue, the VA office called and told me that they saw I had applied for a ID card and they wanted me to come in for a physical. So, I went down to the VA hospital and received a physical examination. There was some blood taken and I left. Later that week, the doctor called me and told me that I was borderline high blood pressure. After telling me the results of the test, I was kind of nervous and some worry story to creep up on me. But when I went to read my bible that night. The Lord began to speak through me through His Word. That I should start speaking over my life what I should be. As I meditated on His Word, I started speaking that I am healed. As I kept saying this over and over, I felt the power of God come over me and heal my body. And what's so weird about this story is this. The doctor who did my examination scheduled me for a future check up. He told me that it would take about 3 to 4 months to be seen again and that I should schedule an appointment over the phone. Okay, a couple of days after I was healed, I called to schedule an appointment. I called the receptionist and told her I was calling to schedule another appointment. As we were talking she told me, "Well the doctor has an opening at 11:00 am today. If you can come in at that time he can see you then". I looked at my watch and it was 10:15 am. I told her I would be right down there. I jumped on it because the distance was far away and I really did not know if I would make it. But in my mind I said to myself this opportunity came about through God. So, I went down there and talked to the doctor and he was very skeptical about my story of being healed. So, he finally took my blood pressure and said it was normal for my age. However, he insisted that he get another blood sample and I allowed them to do so and left. A couple of days later, the doctor called again and told me that my blood was healthy. Finally, I am so amazed how God orchestrates everything to help you open your eyes and at the same times open the eyes of others. God gets all the praise and glory!!!!
