It has been 3 days since the traumatic event. I am having trouble sleeping for 3 days as well due to this. Trying to move on with my life and trying to see the positive side. I know there is so much that I can learn from what hapenned. I thank my husband for being so patient with me and for his words of encouragement.

Have you tried any meditation?

yes i did, that is what i have been doing, it makes me feel better at least before i go to sleep. That is the time i get anxious , but working on it

It may sound strange but intense exercise could really help? jumping jacks, running up and down the stairs, lunges, push ups etc. doing a load of them can 1)get your mind focused on something else and 2) tire you out a bit...
all the adrenaline and cortisol make you anxious and stressed and exercise helps get the hormones out the system
