Newark Nj Mayor: $1,000 To Turn In Your Gun Owning Neighbors. “we Will Give You Cash!”

Mayor Booker. I believe you genuinely care about your constituents, I understand you oversee a high crime district, yet I also believe it is imperative that you heed the words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. when he wisely counseled,

“True compassion is more than flinging a coin to a beggar; it comes to see that an edifice which produces beggars needs restructuring.”

The welfare/warfare/prison/military complex is the root of the disharmony that plagues our cities. Rather than ignoring the larger political context that seeks to disarm the American population while simultaneously arming the D.H.S to the teeth, why not address the roots of the plague, lest you lose your way all together managing the symptoms of this politically mandated cancer.

“A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.” 2nd Amendment of the United States Constitution

The goverments are is the BIGGEST HYPOCRATIE in the world. the preach all sorts of good things, while with the other hand they do the worst possible things. so guns isn't any different.

For me not living in the USA I find this situation of gun ownership confusing.
Yes, when the Constitution was written, the environment at the time did suite this clause. (The law enforcement was non existent) There was no law and order.

Your population has changed allot since then.

When someone is unstable they can get a fire arm from their family or friends and do allot of damage to innocent people.

How do you keep the insane and unstable away from guns??

I am confused that people believe that they have to arm them selves, for some future event that may happen?

Is this not inviting the devil to prevail in one’s life.
(Accidents happen - many kill themselves just even cleaning a gun)

(So that’s why I am confused – I would rather die than take a life of another, that’s me.)

I care about people....

I personally do not like guns ,but one of the reasons oft he 2nd amendment was for the American people to be able to defend themselves against a corrupt goverment They are taking guns away from the law abiding citizen ,whereas the ones committing the crimes will get a gun anyways. Its a direct attack on the constitution, we are all being govern by big corporations are slowly loosing all rights to being considered a free nation. The prerequisite to Germany holocaust was the dis armament of its people.

For me the only benefit is the businesses that gain from the sale of these killing machines. Then also the gun lobbyists they must get huge kickbacks. Money is the name of the game – not saving lives.

what you say is so very true

The world's greatest mass murderers are governments. What do Hitler, Stalin and Mao all have in common? They ensured the public was disarmed first before applying their "political influence."

After Pearl Harbor was bombed, there was little standing in the way of Japan and an invasion of the US. The Japanese knew this as well. But it was Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto who said, "You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind each blade of grass." Imagine how many lives were possibly saved.
