I enjoyed reading your piece about love. I love your ABCDEFG definition of love.... Here how I see love....There's the emotional love between people who are in love that you speak of.....There's the love of self. Love of self enables me to accept who I am without judgment.....There's the love for certain things or people I love such as love of canals, cats, dogs, family, friends, parks, raisins, walking, etc....There's the impersonal love that we all have for one another where you wish people the best without emotional attachment. When someone is injured, for instance, and people reach out to help, that is the impersonal love that is without attachment....There's love of Love itself whether Love is considered Divine or a Principle and it is that Love that unifies all. ....Thank you for expressing and being love.

Spot on! The nature of love is that it is infinite and boundless, therefore, trying to define it is rather like trying to fit the infinite into a box. That is impossible! It's what you feel that matters. :-)

I see this website "Experience Project" as love in action. People share their experiences and realisations unconditionally.

wow..I like that..Im currently really really sad due to my impending divorce. I too thought love was unconditional. I guess I didn't give enough..

came home to a note on the dresser after 12 years.. poof! gone just like that..Now i know the empty awful feeling of having a hole in your body where-the other person fit. I guess he didnt love me....this pain is the worst thing Ive ever felt.....but I still believe in Love

I like this. I agree that passion is too often mistaken for love. However being "complete" is really an understatement.

It's about being the same person together. If they are happy, you get happy, even if it was because of something that should normally make you sad. If they are sad, you get sad, even if your original disposition was to be happy. It's not that you think you're already the best for them or that they are the best for you; it's that you think they deserve the best mate there is, and you don't trust any other person on earth to be what you want them to have, so you become that best person for them. Yet despite this, it is not forced, it isn't strained. There is no obligation. They will feel the exact same thing for you, and you both become something new together.

I have felt lust and passion, but nothing is better than real gut wrenching love.

Love today only seems to exist in personal pleasures, and I can give different to that,if only gien the opportunity??I have tried already, but impatience by others got the better of them..so....here I am.....waiting,wondering,what is real..."touch love like?"...
