It's Impossible For Me Not to Believe

My best friend's friend is both an energy vampire and blood vampire. What people don't seem to understand is that common legend isn't always true, and shouldn't be taken for face value. Vampires are -not- descended from bats, and you do -not- become one if your bitten..... and there are actually almost no cases of a vampire biting another person!

Vampires feed on blood for it's energy, since they themselves have an energy defitiancy. This certain type of energy can only be found in normal energy fields and in blood. For this reason, there is actually a "doner" system for vampires to pair up with people who want to let them have their blood (don't expect to find one happening near you... check out the internet though). This, really, is out of compassion, and the relationship is a good one!

A vampire will become very sick (and there are a few cases of death) if they have not had the energy they need for a few months. Yet, they only need a small amount of this energy on a monthly bases, and it's certainly not enough to kill the doner! The amount varies from vampire to vampire, but overall quantity is the same.

For those wondering, I -am not- a vampire, I am simply one who understands and knows one. I've done some extensive research, talked to actual vampires, and discovered the truth behind it. It's actually extremely fascinating!

this is really getting silly

Well, I've had one too many encounters with closed mindedness and relentless arguing, and it's apparent where this topic is going.

Simple and plain, we all have our different opinions and ideas of what's right, wrong, history and fact. I can spend my days (which would probably rise very high) arguing my point here, or I could be finding new experiences to share, spend time with my family and write emails to my friends. Therefor, everything I need to say being said, I will cease to exist in this conversation unless emailed or otherwise confronted.

It's been enjoyable debating however, and I hope that we can continue peaceful confrontations in the future!

Peace.

it's really kinda sad (or would be if I didn't have such low expercatations of humans in the first place), that someone in thier 60's has remained so closed to what the world is really like. you continue to debate what the word vampire means, in an apparant attempt to avoid accepting the fact that a lot of the old legends started out with people like us.

peace, you're so right with that quote, things do exists whether you believe or not. I did not believe feeding psychicly could really affect me, but having no other choice I tried it anyway, thinking it would at best have psychosomatic effects. I was wrong, energy and blood DO feed me, and not in the way they can feed humans

Yes Mitch

I am aware of the case you refer to.

WHY ARE YOU YELLING AT ME?

The kids you are talking about were not my pals nor do they have anything to do with what I said....

*stomps off-slams door*

Just kiddin

heh

"Some things exist whether you believe in them or not"

ps

The clan I speak of uses willing donors.

There is a certain clan in Kentucky that came across the seas....they were and still are vampyres.

The state was called "Transylvania" before it was called Kentucky.

This clan is also one of the supernatural wolfclans.

They are amazing and powerful.

I have seen them manifest themselves out of the air in the middle of a room.

They are telepaths and would be pissed if they saw I wrote this.

They have mind boggling sexual prowess.

Hollywood has made it seem that this is the stuff of movies only with the BS about the bats and all.

I DO know that some of the Kentucky clan seem really old and that the men tend to have multiple partners in their homes.

I also know that if you are related to them and have left the area, they want you back....

Being wolfclan, they also howl.

You can hear them on the C.B. radio howling...for those who are hiding from them.

Just because you are related to them, does not mean you want to hang out with them....

I am not into debating with anyone on this site concerning my words.

I stand in my truth.

I'm in a bad mood today, lol, sorry if I'm on a total rampage.

*shakes head sadly* so small minded

MitchAndMaureen:

My next door neighbors used to deer hunt, and they would use everything from that deer..... brains, meat, muscles.... and yes they even drank the blood. This however did not make them vampires. I'm sorry but it's hard to tell whether your trying to be sarcastic or just funny.... sorry for my scepticism, but I'm trying to be serious here and relay facts.

Lets bring this down to a boil shall we?

Vampires in terms of humans are people with an energy deficiency who find a certain nutrients that can only be found in one place: human blood. They are not magical and mythical creatures that we once thought them to be, they are not the handsome and seductive Bella Lugosi, or the rampaging vampires from other movies such as Underworld and Van Helsing..... no instead they are a misunderstood group of people much like autistic children or elders with memory problems.

We may or may not understand how these things work, but it's undeniable that it's there. Whether it's a creation of the mind or a fault of nature, IT'S THERE. We need to learn to accept it for what it is without legends and folklore to back us up. In the end, who is quoting facts and who is quoting fiction?

it's almost comical how people who don't know about us like to look at satanists who claim to be vampires and stuff, and say "that's what the modern vampire is: a crazy, or immature person". Well, no, those people mostly are not vampires. to qualify as a vampire, one ned to have the need that we do. it's more nourishing that food. i i feed enough, i can go days without food or sleep. it's crazy but it's true. I also become giddy and find myself amazed at mundane things. The who world just facinates me. the less i feed, the more inward I turn, the more depressed I get, he hungrier for food I get, I get thirsty and tired and I start to throw up, I become anemic for no apparant reason, etc........

Some vampire groups/organizations actually have it as a rule that members shall no drink blood. why? because in some places drinking blood is illegal, and they want to be out in the open, public, known, and not arrested or feared.

Such people clearly are NOT vampires in any sense of the word

i was in denial about being vampiric for years, and my health suffred for it, my refusal to feed on people's energy because i thought it was fundimentally wrong, it was stealing and i needed consent from anyon i fed on. now i accept what i am and that i need to feed and only need permission if it's blood feeding. Also, if i were living in the time before everyone was afraid of bloodborn illnesses, I quite likely would be running around assaulting people and stealing their blood. maybe i'd even kill them. people like to think the vampire has always been what it is. well no, it hasn't always been related to bats and it hasn't always been called a vampire, but the meaning is clear. these legends were about people LIKE me, ones who, most liekly, went very far with thier feeding and thier psychic abilites and may even have had followers. I am sensiive to sunlight and there are plenty of people in the world who are allergic to it, of course it's possible, even likely, that these stories were inspired by actual people, not jsut made up from nothing

A very interesting post, Barbara, and I agree, the powers of the human mind are almost limitless in it's ability to convince itself of certain things.

In the case of vampires, I believe that both are possible. for example, normally it's said that a vampire hates what they are. I find this to be a valid explanation for most vampirism, in which the person is not aware and would rather not be a vampire.

I remember hearing about a man, who being a vampire himself, said one day he woke up screaming and shouting for his friends to bring him blood. He was shaking and could hardly stand, and when his friends took him to the doctor they could find nothing wrong. The symptoms continued, until finally his friends agreed to try giving him a small amount of the blood he was asking for. When they did, he revived and stopped shaking.

However, I also know there are those out there who can be classified as vampire fanatics who would do anything and use any excuse to become a vampire. These people are the ones who convince themselves of what they are, in some cases actually creating a habitual problem for themselves.... much like clinical lycanthropy.

On the history of vampires, as I have said before, I tend to think it's as simple as looking at their name. A human vampire is named after the vampire bat, a species common in areas where vampire legends flourish. Vampire bats live by feeding off the blood of cattle and other animals nearby. Hence the term used for human vampires was simply the best thing that could be conjured up for people who acted like bats.

In my own personal opinion, humanity is so stuck of their way of thinking that they are unable to see or believe what is right before their eyes. If it was said that we would be able to fly to other planets, walk on the moon, travel at speeds unheard of and create an atomic bomb back in the time of cave men..... the whole world would deem us crazy and may have even put us to death. Maybe 20 years from now we will see what we were never able to see before, and finally come to terms with the fact that in this world..... nothing is really impossible, just misunderstood.

To be technically correct, wolves "need" meat for survival... blood comes along with the meat, but they do not NEED it. You could also say the same things about hawks, your pet dog, or even some types of monkeys.... the term "bloodthirsty" just does not fit.

As for my friend, she works at a convenience store, attends college and does not role-play in real life or online as a vampire. She rather hates it that she has to live the way she does, but ever since she was little it's been apparent what she needed.

At one point she attempted to stop. We coaxed her on, explaining that it would be great if she could overcome her actual energetic needs... however after 2 months she became very ill and nobody could explain why (yes that includes doctors). She had to start up with her doner once again, and soon after she recovered.

I understand your point of view, but in this case (and many others) it's not too valid. In reality, you might say that "Vampire" is the wrong term to describe these people... thinking up a word that has something to do with missing energy components in the blood and aura streams would be a better way to put it. After all, it's been proven many times, but not many people go looking for vampire reports.

Read this article, it puts things into an understandable and scientific point of view: http://www.earthspirit.com/fireheart/fhvampire.html

I have no reason to joke, and it would be a sorry waste of my time to run around community websites lying about vampires. Like I said, they are vastly told about in stories and folklore, but most of it is simple rumor.

Take the wolf species for example. We all believe wolves are blood thirsty, vicious animals that will attack us if we are not careful. This is certainly how they are portrayed in books and myth.... but in reality, wolves are loving and kind, scared of humans.... and there isn't any record of a healthy sane wolf ever attacking a human being.

No, vampires are not just myth and legend. As I said once before, my friend is a living testament to it, and I really don't mind if anyone believes me or not..... I answered the question, joined the group, and I'm happy just knowing the truth. Peace.
