Life is full of ups and downs. Victories and challenges. I haven't always made the best decisions in life however it's all of what I've been through that makes me who I am today. It's also life's decisions that have brought the people in my life across my path. I choose to not focus on the past but to learn from it, live for the future and embrace this next phase in my life. One of my favourite sayings is 'what doesn't kill you makes you stronger', my experiences have made me stronger and I'm grateful for that.

I agree. I've found life to be like the ocean - full of peaks and troughs! I realise now that people like us are very fortunate in that we seem to have a reserve of optimism that we can draw upon to see us through the tough times and an unshakeable belief in better times ahead - which is well founded. Some folk go on about being able to "manifest" the things we want in life. I think there's something in that, but it's not at all as clearcut or simple as we would wish it to be. Relating it to my own life, I can see now that what seemed to be rotten luck at the time was actually right for me and led to something better. "Everything for a reason" is one of my frequent thoughts. Keep smiling ;-)
