My Bf Is In The Army

my Boyfriend is in the army and i still have one more year of high school left. no one approves of him anyway bc he is of a different race. he is stationed in hawaii and i live in missouri. he only has 2 years left in and then he is getting out. do you think we can make it the next 2 years without seeing each other much? do long distance relationships really last?

    Some work, some don't.

    The challenges are many and it may drive you mad...

    BUT

    Its ENTIRELY up to the two of you if you will see it through. If you want it badly enough and put your relationship first before all other things... If you are true to yourselves and each other...

    Then... YES, it'll work.

    My wife and I were in one for some time... And though it seems like a dream looking back now, it was an honest to goodness long distance relationship. We saw it through, and now the distance is just a distant memory.

    I'd do it all over again a thousand times without regret.

    The best things are worth waiting and fighting for...

    I would say yes they can, I mean you never can say something like this for sure. I think if you both really love each other it is possible, I wish you both good luck.
