I am just wondering what happen to the integrity of men and women were they just cheat like no big deal. Or want to throw away their spouse and get a newer version. Why stand up there at all and say those vows before God and everyone if in your heart you really don't mean them. Because what is happening is not love it is infatuation and infatuation never last. I learned when I was little Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with truth. It always protects, always trust, always hopes, always perseveres. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. Plus I learned that your word was your bond! If you didn't keep your word you was nothing. I still believe that but its sad to say most people don't anymore. You want to know something I'm going on my second divorce and truth be told I don't believe in divorce but sometimes you don't get the final say.

I agree with you. We live in a throw away society. Your car is acting up. Don't repair it, trade it off. Nothing is fixable anymore,it seems. Well I think too many people have that mentality about marriage vows. They enter into it with good intentions but when things start to "act up" we simply trade off the old and go in search of the new. My wife of twenty years just did that to me.
