What Seems to Be the Problem?

"Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing." ~~ Redd Foxx

Yesterday, I shared with a friend how I used the affirmation, "Love melts situations that seem impossible" recently to dissolve a migraine. (See How Love Dissolved Migraine).

My friend pointed out the power of the word "seem." Situations "seem" to be impossible because that's how they appear, not necessarily how they actually are. He said it's like going to see a doctor with symptoms. A doctor who is very aware will say "what seems to be the problem?" Already that one little word - "seem" - opens your eyes to the truth that what you're suffering from is not real. If it was real, the doctor will say "What is the problem?"

"What seems" are appearances trying to distract you from the truth of what is.

If you ever find yourself in a situation, know that you only seem to be in a situation. In other words, nothing is really going on.

What seems to be the problem?

Er...nothing.
