I Believe Our Healthcare System Is Greedy and Corrupt
What I wouldn't give for good health! I don't think there is too much I would not give for such a miraculous feeling. To not feel unexplainable pain, well they are unexplainable because no one I have met in the medical field in the last couple of years, specialize in pains that are not med school text book.
What I wouldn't give to be able to go to a homeopathic care institute, instead of to a mainstream hospital's emergency station. I have come to the conclusion, that what the medical community considers worthy of medical attention, is totally different from the general public's. The misconception the medical community has, is that people want to come to their hospitals. No one wants to be treated like an inconvenience.
What I wouldn't give to have compassionate and truly caring medical attention. Is it really too much to ask for simple human kindness? Why go into field that requires such a strong love for humanity, if you can't even stand the thought of holding someones hand? For me, I have come to the to the sad and disgusting conclusion, that the medical community in total, pharma industry is definitely included, is nothing more than a money hungry, status desiring and totally inhumane establishment.
What I wouldn't give to be able to have a choice in my health-care options. Why can't I go to an alternative health clinic? What's wrong with me picking a naturopath as my primary physician? Oh, that's right! The medical community with it's drug pushing corporate backers, would lose that villa in the south of Spain. We can't have that, now can we?
What I wouldn't give to have more doctors like Patch Adams, doctors at Karmanos or the doctors at St. Judes, running the healthcare industry. All these doctors, don't think text book nor do they feel people should be drug dependent. I guess not everyone has that type of devotion, too bad its the average Jane and Joe that suffer for that lack of emotion.
What I wouldn't give to not have to constantly repeat the same things over and over again. I really never understood this, what are we playing, some kind of memory game? Is the communication process in the medical field that poor? If so, no wonder there are so many fatalities or so many people leaving the hospital in even worse condition then when they came.
What I wouldn't give to actually have a say in my treatment. Why do doctors feel they have more rights to my body then me? Is this not my body? I have come to the conclusion that not only do doctors have poor communication skills, they are very poor listeners. How can you truly know and treat whats wrong with someone, if you don't try to understand what they are telling you?
What I wouldn't give to not have to go through pain every time I need treatment. It's a shame the diagnostic and the cure are worse then the illness. That's why a lot of people don't bother finding out what's wrong or get treatment, what is the point if it just going to hurt worse? No one wants pain, that's the point of getting help. Unfortunately, the medical society that is backed by corporations and pharma, seem to enjoy the torture of people.Especially if they are already in agony, more money for them from the drugs the will be able push, how sick.
It's a pity that me and others like me, who have dealt with or have had a loved one ill or in poor health, have to continue to suffer from it. Then to make matters worse, the very people we turn to relieve or heal our suffering, piles it even higher on every level. Just to make more profit!
