A Small Smile Of Encouragement

I don't think I shared this yet, but I remember a couple of months ago, I was sitting on my favorite park bench, staring out into the ocean, in tears. I don't remember just what I was thinking about, as I often sit there and cry. It was a beautiful day, and there were a number of tourists visiting the park by bus. Very few looked in my direction as they were all pulled towards the ocean, but there was one man who spotted me. He stopped, looked at me for a few seconds, smiled and all he said was "Everything is going to be okay." And he walked off.
I cannot tell you what that did to me that day, as it's hard to describe, but I can say that it made me feel better.

Since then, my days there have been lonely, with secret hopes that he'd come back. But I will never forget that. Thank you, wherever you are.
