Distance Doesn't Ruin.

I believe that distance doesn't ruin relationships, only if you are able to trust each other..
In a few months I will have to do my internship and study in an other country which means that I won't be able to see my boyfriend for 1,5 years. Since it is coming closer and closer, it is getting harder for me to deal with, knowing that a lot can happen during that period of time. We have build up so much and it has taken me such a long time to trust him, that I would be devastated if our relationship would end just because of the distance and time between us. Being faithful to each other and trusting each other are the only ways to make it last. Even though my doubts are working against me, there is one thing I'm sure about; what is meant to be will always find a way. If we get through it all it will only make us stronger, if not; it was never meant to be.

Keep trusting. You can go on holiday and visits to see your partner. My boyfriend and I have had to live in different countries for 2 years now and we see each-other 4 times a year or a bit more when we can. Keep communication good between you both... if you are happy love will come through. Keep positive. :)

Ahw, bad to hear this :( but you never know what life is going to bring you. Maybe one day when you and your boyfriend are going to meet each other again, you'll get back together. Honestly, I'm scared whether it's going to work out with my boyfriend but I rather take the risk than giving it up so easily. If it's meant to be, people will always find a way to get back to each other:) Eventhough it's hard, you have to keep this in mind. Wishing all the best to you!

I wish I had your confidence. My boyfriend is leaving, and I'm the one staying back, but it looks like, after a year and a half, we'll just be ending it. And it's awful. So I'm proud of you for wanting to try, and I hope it works out! :)
