"I Believe You Can Make Your Point Without Being Mean." YES ONE CAN make a point without having to be mean. It is understanding the other party, knowing beforehand how much explanation and introduction will help them see the light of your intend. Generally when not understood, the point/ proposal/ idea gets to be perceived as opposed; rejected or simply not acceptable. That is not the fault of the recipient. Good communication skills will be handy. Timing is essential. Clarity is a must. No need to be mean. Plain old reasoning in a friendly way is good enough.
