Skogsrå Sisterhood

A friend of mine from Indonesia and I started this group so we could tease a friend of ours in Finland.  He is a major flirt on Facebook so we told him that all of his "fan club" was going to unite against him one day if he didn't stop messing with women's hearts.  haha

Therefore, the formation of the Skogsra Sisterhood!

Here is the background of the Scandanavian myth.....

A skogsrå is a creature from scandinavian folklore, the stories about them differs a little from place to place (her back is usually hollow or covered with bark.)  She looks like a beautiful woman and with her charm she tricks men into following her deep into the forest. There she turns her back to them, and as her back is covered with bark she melds into the surroundings and disappears, leaving the poor man alone and lost in the woods...

Just a weird thought I am sharing today....

haha, well then, I'm the queen of quirky.. I wonder sometimes at myself at the things that I think of... I'm looking forward to reading all your stories whether quirky or painful.... do share...

haha, so true! I like getting all these thoughts out of my head in the name of anonymity! and then there are all the quirky thoughts I have, like this story..... LOL

I agree! I treasure friendships. Even though "online friendships" may not be truly possible, I do have "guy friends" on Facebook that are refreshingly "perv-free!" I am a newbie to this site, been here only about a month and have meet some wonderful people here that I hope to call my friends, including yourself.

haha, it was all in "good fun!" We were picking on him. Since he was Scandanavian, we chose that myth. He still has a weakness for women but it's because he is not satisfied. Once he makes the decision to be satisfied with his "lot in life" he will find the fulfillment he needs. He's a great guy, I consider him one of my closest friends (well, as close as you can be to an online friend). He considers me a friend and doesn't try to play me, he enjoys my honesty. ....... But see, here is a perfect example of me-- I try to make everyone else happy and fulfilled, but I can't seem to do that for myself. I just have to laugh and shake my head sometimes....
