Involuntarily So.

Whenever I'm sick or hungry, I tend to chew my tongue. Not just chew it, either, but really bite at it, chewing off parts until it bleeds. I don't mind it, though, the pain or the bleeding, except that it makes it hard to taste things later. When I'm sick, it's as if I expect my blood to heal whatever it is that's ailing me. When I'm hungry, I have to admit it reminds me of the taste of rare meat.
