Great parents! So important to allow children to develop naturally as their inner self deems, and so difficult for most parents to do, even to push them into sports or activities they don't really like, rather than allowing them the freedom to explore their own passions.

I think she should take legal action against the school, hurt them where it hurts the most - their pocketbooks.

Me As A Gentic Girls (GG) I think, I would a have been Totally miserable as boy,
I would have mis out on the extra-mini skirt back when I was 7 to 10 yrs old, I like to wear them back then to tease the boysm and now I still like them but I leave them for the younger GUrls, since the new generation of girls don't wear skirts any more.

Seeing understanding parents like Amy and Tom Sr. who love their child make me feel really good- after all, don't we want our kids to be happy?
Sometimes we adults actually manage to get it right.

You are so right. There was a story on Yahoo today about a girl who came out to her parents as gay by announcing "I'm gay" on a cake she baked them accompanied by a cute note.
Both mom and dad just hugged her and told he they loved her. What else really matters?
You just want your kids to have a great life. Gay, straight , TG- what counts is the person. Parents are starting to get it. So are kids. Witness the boy who was cool with having trans-kid Jazz as his girlfriend. Sometimes there are really pleasant surprises. I am a romantic and I love happy endings, and also great beginnings.

It came out in a second Barbara interview. Jazz texted the boy to tell him she was a boy too. The boy texted back that it was okay with him.
