I don't care where you're from, what you are into, or who you are. I only care about how you treat people. In my life I have had many friends from many different walks of life.
I have had men, women, transgendered, and genderqueer friends. I have a friend that is straight, one that is gay, and a couple that are bisexual. I have been friends with people that were my own age, and both younger and older. I have friends with their Masters Degree and a friend that dropped out of high school. I have a friend that plays the same musical instrument as me and loves music every bit as much as I do and I have a couple of friends that couldn't care less about music.
I have a friend that has two jobs and a friend that refuses to work. I have friends that share the same interests as me and friends that I have very little in common with. I don't pass judgement on others, I have no right to (no one is perfect enough to pass judgement). I am willing to be friends with any one until they give me a reason not to be.
