Its Like..

my mind works too quick for my mouth, i cant get through all these thoughts in my head, its all too fast and jumbled. the thoughts are barely mine, they are just there, surrounded in cotton wool.

i dont even know whats on my mind, how could i explain it?

You are so right...It's ok to slow down...A simple answer yes or no will do...I have to remember this...I too get emotional and my anxiety increases when I feel I can't remember or don't understand which increases the problem.

thank you :) i think i just have too much going on.
i mainly get it with my emotions, or when im talking about politics!

This situation is so opposite of mine that it makes me very intreagued.I am the opposite maybe I can help.I chatter alot . maybe because I have had alot of practice it is easy for me.What might help you.1-Reading. Reading helps to develope an advanced vocabulary not saying you dont already have one!!!
But there is almost always a word to deliver exactly the thought you are trying to portray.2 taking your time.
You have many thoughts and you dont want to loose any so maybe you talk fast so you dont forget everything you want to say. Best to slow down and eleminate some verbage that might be misconstrued or confuse someone.3-easy on the caffee.love the stuff myself but it can really speed you up even more.
My last suggestion would be to meditate. The practice of clearing your mind can help you unclutter and retrain your brain from jumbling thoughts up usually the same ones from reoccuring for no reason and can help your mind and process to be more productive.
Hopes this helps
I do this too as well as write that way too. I have even started to ask is that right? I don't mean am I answer the question correctly. I mean did that make sence? Often I catch myself lost in my own conversations. I also don't understand the questions soon after being asked.
That sort of behavior used to make me feel unimportant to others when that was done to me. Now after having injury to the brain with cognative issues I feel terrible that I may being making others feel like I'm not paying any attention to their concerns. Which is so far from the truth.
See? I'm not even sure this is what we were sharing here or not!

I think its great. Its who we are. I work in a kitchen and while I scrub those dishes am watching the chefs, writting poetry/music flirting, planning the rest of the night, thinking about coffessions and stories.

I did this when I was in the office looking after pay and accounts . Try having TV on and music and Comperter on all the time you are home.

it's good to know that im not alone. my bf keeps telling me that i could never stay on one subject when we talk or even argue.. i told him "Well, try getting in my brain and you'll be ripped to shreds cause it's a tornado in there."

exactly.... and i can go through events or whatever that have happened, or things that have recently happened that I know are probably upsetting me, but thats mroe by logic than emotion.
