All My Love. All My Life Forever and Ever. Even After Death. My Heart Is Yours.

I don't know where to begin. I'm madly in love with a soldier named Gary. He and I met through his younger brother, with whom I'd been friends with for a few years. I would have to say that it was love at first sight. Though we only got to spend a couple of days together when we first met, it's like we knew we were supposed to be together. He's presently on his second deployment in Iraq. He will be home this fall, which I can hardly wait!!!

He amazes more and more with each passing day.He seems to be overflowing with love for me. His family is here locally with me, so I have them to turn to along with the friends I've made from this site. This has helped immensely, since I've new to the military experience. The title of this story is something his grandparents would say to one another.

For this Valentine's day (our 1st as a couple) he ordered me an engraved snow globe and had it shipped to his mother's house. He had it engraved with the following: 'I miss you so much. I love you more with each breath I take.' And then card contained the saying of his grandparents: 'All my love. All my life. Forever and ever. Even after death. My heart is yours. I love you.'

He makes me feel that he was put on this earth just for me. He had already left for this deployment when my mother passed away this past December. Although he was away, he did his best to comfort me with his words. He called me every day the week leading up to her funeral. He even called me the morning of the funeral, right before the family car came to pick up me and my brothers and sisters.

It goes without saying that I can't wait until he's finally home with me, and we're able to start our life together. While excited I'm anxious, about becoming a military wife. Not many of my friends understand what I'm going through with him being away. But they are supportive, the best way they know how. I feel so blessed to have him in my life. And although my mother never got to meet him, I know she looks down on our love and smiles.

I feel like i just wated a lifetime movie, that was really touching. I'm deeply sorry about your mother, though I don't know exactly how you feel, I became very close to one of my friends mothers; she passed aways several years ago. It gets easier to deal with as the years pass.
Sometimes I think it's true whats said, when one loved one passes, another one steps in.
Good luck :)
