A Good Read

Take the book off the shelf, its usually the catchy title or an author that I enjoy that makes me pick it up in the first place.  Check the back cover (or inside flap depending on the book).  Still interested?  Open the book.  Start reading.  If you don't try to sit down to read more within the first paragraph, put the book back.  It's not a good read.  Sometimes you have to read to page 2 to get the grasp as to whether or not you are interested.
