Some Movies I Can't Help But Watch Over And Over!

I have my favorites,if i see them on tv or online I have to watch them.Some because I love an actor or a scene,some because of the music played in a scene.Some movies just take me back mentally to a place I enjoyed.Some movies remind me of an old girlfriend or a schoolmate.
Forrest Gump never not watch if it is on.There are so many scenes I watch for different reasons but mainly because of how Forrest pursued Jenny to the end of the world.
Shawshank because Morgan Freeman acts as well as anyone has in any movie.I do not have any specific scene i like best in Shawshank.
Casablanca I love because it is almost a perfect movie.All the characters in the movie I love watching as they do their parts.
I love Serendipity because I think Kate Beckinsale might be the most beautiful human ever even though she isn't the best acting.I like the story how "fate"brought them together and they left people they knew were not right for them for the one they knew was.
Almost Famous I can watch everyday and never tire of it.Cameron Crowe made an awesome movie and he uses perfect songs in his movies.
Big Fish is another movie I can watch over and over.It surprised me when I first saw it and I am not a big Tim Burton fan but this one I liked a lot.I enjoyed how the son finally got his dad,the dad was always just a faithful guy looking after his family.
For some sci-fi/fantasy I can watch the LOTR ,all three parts any time.
I do love some of the Spaghetti Westerns that I have watched over and over like The Good,The Bad,And The Ugly.
I will have to follow up w/another list of movies that I can watch over and over but this list for now.

my favorite movies that i want to watch it over and over again are beaches... i really like this movie because it tells the true meaning of friendship. i love also a walk to remember, twilight saga and tolr...

Some of my faves that I watch over and over... A Patch of Blue (Poitier), Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil (Cusak), A League of Their Own (Davis, Madonna), Coal Miner's Daughter (Spacek), To Kill a Mockingbird (Peck), The Young Lions (Brando, Clift), A Raisin in the Sun (Poitier), The Believer (Gosling), Shrek (Myers)--for starters. Plus a few foreign films. And I saw Excalibur (Nigel Terry) at least 13 times before I stopped counting years ago. Oh yes, and BLADE RUNNER--the original version! Awesome!

I just went and watched a special showing of Casablanca in the theater it was fabulous...one of my favorites and Shawshank Redemption is definitely in my top 10.

  Share away. Oh, and check out Fathom Events, that's who I saw Casablanca through and they had showing in your area. I know through Fandango you can find some of the classics, too. Looking forward to seeing Citizen Kane this month.

I'm a big fan of LOTR as well and have seen them many times. I also like sports movies - they inspire me to work harder and never give up....Rudy, The Rookie, Invincible. Some comedies like Christmas Vacation and The Family Man get watched a lot too. There are so many.

mine is dirty dancing....i own it now....so my daughter is now addicted too......this affliction has been passed down from my grandmother and mother....haha

That is a really nice list- Forrest Gump is def. my fave out of all of em =) The characters..amazing...the music..awesome/reminiscent...and the whole plot; just a GREAT movie.

Serendipity is such a great movie too...I love the storyline; I'm sure you liked it for other reasons too..haha!

Have not seen Almost Famous, but want to.. and........the Lord of the Rings..omg; the BEST . =) Didn't know you liked that one..just great isn't it?

That one I could surely watch over , and over , and over..anytime...

I love Dirty Dancing..hahaha!! I love the characters, music, just everything..its like I wish sometimes I lived in that decade....siiighhh; great movie....again great list!!!! Do ul ike action films?

  Regarding movies that I can't help but watch over and over again; West Side Story is definitely it for me! Whether it comes on TV, or on a great big, wide screen in a darkened movie theatre, this is one movie that so tugs at my heartstrings that I can't resist it! Sure, there are other movies that I like well enough to watch over and over, but they don't have nearly the same special place in my heart regarding movies as West Side Story!

I have a couple I can watch over and over again, too. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Uncommon Valor, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Great Escape, Cool Hand Luke.
