My Dad. My Wonderful, Handsome, Extremely Well Respected, Generous, Honest, Decent, Loving, Happy, Family Man, My Dad!
The Only part of my past, I cannot forget, will not forget, don't want to forget, the most important man in the world to me, whose life together was cut, way too short...
Its easy to remember you, I do it every day but there's an ache within my heart, that will never go away...
We little knew that day that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; & though we cannot see you, your always at our side. Our family chain was broken & nothing seemed the same but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again...
Grieve for me awhile, if grieve you must. Then let your grief be comforted with Trust. Its only for a while that we must part, so Bless the memories within your Heart. Then, when you must come this way alone, I'll greet you with a Smile & a, "Welcome Home"...
