So Very Fast...

I've been e-mailing an old friend from high school (I did distance education and so did she, we met on camp), and the other day she said 'Oh, it's been 7 years since we've seen each other'.

Seven years?? It only feels like two. I was 15 when we met, I'm now 22. It only feels like the space of a blink.

And the years are flashing by so fast. It used to feel like the year lasted forever, but now you turn around twice and its Christmas again.

Josie, I know what you mean, you have to savour every day no matter how busy you are or how fast its going because you don't really get that many days on this earth. And no one should get to the end of their time and regret letting every day slip away without appreciating it.

Kinky, I know what you mean! I'm a tad smaller but not even close to where I wanted to be. Which makes outfit shopping for the wedding really tough (not to mention there are a whole slab of colours I'm not 'allowed' to wear by edict of the mother in law lol).

Some days fast, some days slow. All days are good with friends to talk to. Sugar, don't let them be so fast that you don't enjoy them.

i hear ya! my sister's wedding is in october....and i'm not any closer to being where i wanna be than i was back in april or may lol

I know! The older I get the more it seems to fly. <br />
And I've been trying to get thinner for my future sister in law's wedding in September and it felt like I had a whole ocean of time and now its August! lol

it doesn't get any better as you get older either! i seriously can't believe it's the middle of August already! going by way too fast for me too lol

You are so right!

Isn't that the truth!!! Guess that's why they say live everyday to the fullest.
