Letting Go

I was given this advice by a friend and I truly believe it helps when you are trying to overcome your past.

To let go is not to enable, but to allow learning from natural consequences.

To let go is not to care for but to care about.

To let go is not to judge, but be aware and accepting.

To let go is not to be in the middle arranging all the outcomes, but to allow others to affect their own destinies.

To let go is not to plan everything to my desires but to take each day as it comes.

To let go is not to regret the past but to grow and live for the future.

So I am letting go. I am letting things fall as they may. I have faith that I will go in the right direction. So here's to the future as I just let go.

You are very welcome. I read this each time I start beating myself up for things I've done, or when bad memories pop into my head. It really helps me and I'm glad it touched you too.

Thank you for this, I found it very helpful. I think it was exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you
