Wishing Life Away

I know it is not a very positive thing to do by wishing your life away but sometimes I get so down, tired and fedup that I just cant help hoping that life would come to an end.  I know it is selfish thinking but recently I have just learned about gratitude.  Yup this late in life I have finally learned how to be grateful for the little things in life and writing at least 5 down a day.  And it is amazing how we forget how the little things in life that we are grateful for but take no notice off.

I have just started this gratitude journal and it is working wonders for me and I am starting to appreciate what life has to offer me and being thankful for what I have in life instead of what I do not have in life.  So as life speeds up 100 miles an hour Im holding on cherishing every moment and being more thankful and grateful for the life I have.

yes there is being grateful makes you life fuller

It is wonderful being grateful for those little special things :)

Isn't it amazing how such a simple thing can work so well? I went through a difficult period in my life where I had to do a similar thing. I didn't write things down, but I did make a point of being grateful for the smallest of things like the feeling of the sun's rays on my skin, a chickadee's song, etc. It worked and even though I am now feeling better about my life, I still try to remember to be grateful for the small things.
