Issue: I can't hold a job for more than 2 years

What I'm most afraid of: Not being able to take care of myself, not having anyone whom would take care of me if this happened, and not caring about either situation if one or the other should occur.

Personal specs: 45 year old divorced female, well educated, experienced, and skilled.

Mental Health Status: Major Depressive disorder but mostly under control with meds and therapy from time to time, some panic issues, some mood swings

What I most want: To always do my best, enjoy my work, be able to "stick it out" during stressful or difficult times, change my core beliefs about working for "The Man", have a future, be able to support myself.

I think everyone at one point feels the way you do. I too, fear that I wouldn't be able to take care of myself or worse, not caring one way or the other.
I agree that what we need to do is seek other people we can talk to. I have always found my encouragement in friends. They make me see that yeah, my problems are real and difficult but also solvable. Friends are amazing; I hope you'll find more people through this story.
