Relax And Let It Go

It's just not ME. I don't need someone fawning all over me , making a big deal to get my attention , then doing a 180 and disappearing without so much as a see you later.

I'm not interested in forcing anyone to love me ~ that's plain and simple insecurity ~ and it's not love , it's fear.

Fear of losing a feeling you've become used to feeling , fear of losing something you didn't own to begin with.

The old adage is true , no matter how hackneyed it has become. I can't make you love me , any more than I can force myself to love you.

Hi bellas31 , that's the point ~ we invest that which we don't have for ourselves into that someone else , and when they leave , we're left feeling empty ~ we gave ourselves away , out of fear. Much better to want someone ~ meaning we don't need them to be whole ~ we have extra to give and don't fear loss of self.

Yes I agree ,letting things progress naturally turns out much better than forcing the feelings.
I can identify with this line
Really hurts when that happens..Hard to guard against it sometimes.....

Yes, I agree! Your an old soul...=)

It get's complicated when we try to force things ~ if we "have" to say "I love you"~ NAHHHHHH!
It just won't work. Besides , there's far too many people chasing others because they think those people have something they feel they DON'T HAVE ~ the most meaningful relationship they miss out on is the most important one : the one with themselves.:)

Damn you are good! We think so much alike! Which is why when you really do love someone and they love you too...its SO easy. Not complicated...
