It's Just Like Riding A Bike...

When I was younger I really could ride a bike. As a teen, I rode a bike to get to where I needed to. It was great. I went without riding one for about 5 years, and my mother gave me hers. I got on it like I had always done previously, but this time was very, very different. I quickly realized that I no longer remembered how to balance or steer the thing. Over I went, legs and shoes flying in different directions. I don't know what happened, but I do know that I forgot how to ride a bike and haven't been able to remember how. Now when I'm learning something new and someone tells me that it's just like riding a bike, I ask them if I'm going to forget how in a few years.

I hate it when people use the ex<x>pression, "It's just like riding a bike" because I never have ridden a bike.

Haha, me too. Whenever i hear that i want to say SO I'M GONNA PANIC AND FALL...?

Well at your age, you should be able to ride a bike. Go to a bike store, or a sports authority, but preferably a bike store, and ask for a test drive, you may like it.
