If I Can't Sleep Because I Have Too Much On My Mind, I Lay There Peacefully Instead.If this happens I will lay there and try not to move. Often it happens that I fall asleep before I know it. It is better to get 3, 6, or 9 hours of sleep anyways. Better than 4, 7 or 8. Often if I get 4 hours or 7 hours, I feel worse than if by chance I get 3. I'm happy this doesn't happen too often though. The reason for this is because one sleep cycle = 3 hours. Nurses who powernap know this too.
So, if night time comes and I am aggravated or have too much on my mind, I try to stay physically peaceful anyhow. Should I happen to get little sleep, I will get up and do what I need to do for the day and then take a nap when I am done. It works.
