Not sleeping could actually be considered a good thing, you have more time to do things in. There are many reasons to want to stay awake. Plus, the inability to stay awake is barely unpleasant, you are asleep otherwise and I for one happen to enjoy sleep.

It has been 20 hours since I've gone to bed. I've been trying - unsuccessfully - to sleep since. At this point I just got up and cant take it anymore. I have given up. So dear insomnia, I officially admit defeat, I give up, I surrender, you win. I'd probably sell my soul just to sleep again. And I am starting to wonder if that's ever gonna happen.

I wish I could write an amazingly supportive message here, with promises of it getting better (Ill throw it in here anyways: It'll get better) and tips or something. As I dont have anything proper to say, I just wanted to write that I feel your pain. Currently having some sleeping problems myself, and its horrible. I miss sleep. Good luck to both of us.
